Ojcow National Park was established in 1956. Its total area is 21.46 km², making it the smallest National Park in Poland. It is located in the southern part of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland and includes the central part of the Pradnik Valley, part of the Sąspowska Valley and parts of the Jurassic plateau. The bat is a symbol of the Park. There are about 400 caves in the park.
