Poznan – it is one of the biggest city in Poland, situated in the western of the country. Most tourists come to Poznań for business purposes - they participate in trade fairs, conferences, business meetings and trainings. However, on the other hand, Poznan is a beautiful city with a rich history and places worth seeing. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland. In 10th 11th centuries, Poznan was one of the social and religious centers the country. In the past, Poznan was the seat of Polish Rulers. The most important part of the city is the Old Town with Old Market Square where you can find a perfect example of Renaissance architecture – the town hall decorated with a symbol of Poznan - "Poznanskie Koziołki" ("Poznań goats"). The oldest part of Poznan is the Ostrów Tumski, which formerly was one of the centers of authority in our country. There is the oldest cathedral in the country which is the burial place of the first Polish rulers and the alleged place of the Baptism of Poland.
